Teen Volunteer

Volunteer with the Library

Service Saturday

Service Saturday for Teens is a monthly program where attendees in grades 6-12 can complete a service project to earn volunteer credit. Each library location hosts a Service Saturday for Teens once a month, and each month we will offer a different service project. Some projects will benefit national organizations such as Project Linus and Operation Gratitude, while other projects will benefit local organizations such as The Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry, Mutual Ground, and Aurora Animal Care & Control.

Summer Reading

Want to volunteer at the library this summer? Our teen volunteer program will be available from June 1-July 31 during our summer reading program. Volunteers will explain the summer reading program to patrons, sign them up, redeem their prizes, and other tasks as needed by staff. Volunteering is only available for children and teens going into grades 6-12 for the 2024/2025 school year. Applications are available from March 1-May 31, 2024.

You will be required to attend a one-on-one orientation with a volunteer coordinator before you can volunteer. More information will be sent out after your application has been received to sign up for your orientation session. We're excited to have you!
