Who Makes Up Our Team?

LIBRARIANS

Provide reference and readers’ advisory services. Plan, develop, market, promote, and ensure delivery of library programs. Manage library collection.

Requires a master's degree in library science (MLS/MLIS)

LIBRARY ASSISTANT

Provide reference, readers’ advisory, outreach, and programming services for library customers.

Requires a bachelor's degree or a Library
Technical Assistant (LTA) certificate

DIGITAL SERVICE ASSISTANT

Assist customers to access and use technology tools and other library resources.

Requires a high school diploma/GED and computer support experience

DIGITAL SERVICE LIBRARY ASSISTANT

Provide reference, readers’ advisory, outreach, and programming services featuring Makerspace services and technology resources for library customers.

Requires a bachelor's degree or a Library Technical Assistant (LTA) certificate

COLLECTION SERVICES ASSISTANT

Physically prepare books for the library collection. 

Requires high school diploma/GED

CLERKS

Assist customers to manage their accounts, solve problems and access library materials.

Requires high school diploma/GED


MATERIALS AIDES

Check in and shelve materials. Assist with maintenance of library collection.

No educational requirements – must be at least 16 years old.
