ESO cellist Sara Sitzer explores the incredible musical culture of Terezin, the Nazi concentration camp for artists during WWII. Following the lecture, musicians will perform Gideon Klein's trio.
Beautiful, powerful art was born in history’s darkest hours. Following the lecture, a trio of musicians from Chamber Music on the Fox will perform Gideon Klein’s String Trio, which was premiered in the Terezín camp in 1944. The trio will be performing on instruments from the Violins of Hope collection.
Atrium seating will be available first come, first served.
