Meet the Staff

Cesar

About me:

Cesar went from being the Library Kid at school to an actual Librarian. Competes against Flannery for the title of “cool” librarian. Spends his days reading manga and comics along with playing video games and keeping up with movies and shows. Ask him about his manga collection if you want to see him nerd out, he also has a vast knowledge of movies and shows if you ever need any recommendations. Cesar will always listen and try to help in any way possible so feel free to ask him for any help if you see him at the West Branch.

Flannery

About me:

Flannery isn't a regular librarian, she's a "cool" librarian. Whether she's recommending the freshest graphic novels & manga, telling cautionary tales about her own teen years, debating which cryptid would win in a fist-fight, or purposefully misquoting memes in order to make you cringe, she's always ready for action! You can find her at the Eola Road Branch or hanging out on the library's Discord server. No question is too big, small, or silly for Flannery, so seek her out for all your information needs!

Phoebe

About me:

Phoebe just became a librarian to get back into the teen space of the library (by far the coolest section). She has always been a super-hero and fantasy fan and has recently been converted to anime and manga. She loves to hear about the book/movie/tv show/ music/ hobby you like and will probably try it if you recommend it. Phoebe is always happy to talk to you (it’s the best part of any day) so feel free to ask about anything, the sillier or more obscure the question the better.
