What is the Teen Advisory Board (TAB)? 

  • The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of 15 teens that meet once a month at the library
  • TAB’s main goal is to advise the Teen Librarian and help make the library a better place for teens
  • Perks include snacks at meetings, opportunities for free advance copies of books, volunteer hours and the TAB Library Lock-In
  • If you would like to apply, please take a few moments to give the current TAB your honest answers to the questions below
  • Give this form to a librarian at the reference desk

Requirements to join:

  • Be going into 6th - 12th grade

  • Be able to attend monthly meetings

  • Be willing to participate in TAB discussions and voice your opinions

  • Be willing to respect the opinions, tastes, privacy, and choices of others

  • Volunteer at events outside of meetings
