Apply for a Library Card 

Teacher Loan Service

Teacher loans on a Teacher Library Card are available to schools within Aurora city limits. Authorized school personnel can fill out this form or email teacherloan@aurorapubliclibrary.org to submit requests of up to 50 items to be delivered to your school. A minimum of 15 items is required for delivery. Requests for specific items may be limited based on availability. Loan periods for books on school cards is 8 weeks with no renewals. Interlibrary Loan service is not available on a Teacher Library Card.

Homeschool Information

The Homeschool Library Account issued to Aurora Public Library cardholders may be used to check out juvenile materials for curriculum-related use only from the Santori Library, Eola Road and West Branch for eight weeks with no renewals. Most adult materials checked out on a Homeschool Account will circulate for the same loan period as those checked out on a personal account with no renewals. No fines apply on overdue items checked out on a homeschool library account used for curriculum purposes with the exception of 50 cents per day for DVDs. Interlibrary loan service is not available on the homeschool account. Personal library cards must be used to check out materials (including video games) for recreational purposes. Personal library cards must be valid and kept in good standing for continued use of the Homeschool Library Account.
