Eola Road Branch
Join us for this fun virtual travel program designed to engage people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementia. Designed by retired academic librarian Mary Beth Riedner.
Tales & Travel Memories is an innovative book and reading library program that provides services directly to people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias, not just their caregivers. Each one-hour program takes participants on an imaginary trip to another country or region of the United States and includes books, music, objects, folktales, and interesting facts about each destination country or region of the United States.
Please note that registration is required. Registrants will be sent a Zoom meeting invitation via email. You do not need a Zoom account in order to participate.
This branch shares the Eola Community Center buiding with the Fox Valley Park District. It offers a quiet reading room with a fireplace, study rooms and a family computer lab. The Eola Road Branch has public meeting rooms that may be used for community programs.
